Bio

Born and raised in London, England, Gabrielle Curtis developed a passion for acting from an early age, appearing in numerous school productions and pursuing performance at every opportunity.

Alongside a mainstream academic education at Henrietta Barnett School and later The University of Leeds, where she studied Politics, Gabrielle maintained a consistent commitment to acting. As a teenager, she was signed to Sylvia Young’s Young ’Uns Agency, through which she secured supporting roles in children’s television dramas including Grange Hill and Chalk.

She later trained with the National Youth Theatre and at the Central School of Speech and Drama during her gap year. Following the completion of her BA, Gabrielle auditioned for and was accepted onto the postgraduate Acting course at Drama Centre London, whose alumni include Colin Firth, Michael Fassbender and Tom Hardy.

Gabrielle has worked as an actor across film, television and stage, including a feature film and a number of short films that have screened internationally and received festival recognition. Her stage work includes productions at venues such as Southwark Playhouse and the Old Red Lion Theatre.

Alongside her acting career, Gabrielle is an active writer. She has written multiple short plays, with work published and performed at theatre venues across London and has received award recognition for her writing on screen. She continues to develop original work across stage and film, with further details available elsewhere on the site.
